Project Advance is the Archdiocese of Vancouver’s annual appeal to support infrastructure development programs as well as educational and social justice services that are so essential to spreading the Gospel.
Project Advance gives us a blessed opportunity to express our thanksgiving for the needs of the Archdiocese of Vancouver, as well as our own parish.
This year, the Archdiocese hopes to raise $3.25 million for the building of Catholic schools, land for new churches and other diocesan needs.
Through your kind donations to Project Advance so far, we at Our Lady of Perpetual Help have already contributed our share toward the diocesan goal.
That’s the good news! We have exceeded $52,000 in donations and gone beyond $60,000. Thank you to all who have contributed thus far.
Phase 2 of this Appeal is to meet our own parish goal to double this amount and reach a total of $104,000. Since we’ve already met the diocesan goal, whatever you give now, will come right back to us.
These funds will go toward our Centennial Development Project.
The plan is to develop the Rectory to a building of low-rise apartments to accommodate our priests, as well as seniors, young families and teachers on a lease basis.
We urge your generous support in making this project possible.
If you have not yet made your contribution to Project Advance, please pray about how you can contribute to this year’s Appeal.
Your Project Advance pledge form will arrive in the mail this week.
There are also leaflets in the foyer that you can use to make your donation. The leaflets also contain information about how you can make your donations online.
