The OLPH annual Christmas Fair on Nov 25 from 9am-11am is a great event for the whole family. There are handmade crafts made by the ladies of the Craft Group, home-baked Christmas cookies and cakes, unique treasure trove items, gently used books and, everyone’s favourite – High Tea – served in a lovely atmosphere with OLPH students helping with the serving. This year we also have Christmas Raffle organized by the Knights of Columbus. Raffle tickets are on sale after all Masses for $2. Proceeds will support the Kits Shower Program. This allows the unhoused to shower once a week, get new underwear and socks, a hot breakfast, clean clothes, blankets and towels, and get a medical and dental check-up. More than 100 volunteers show the homeless compassion and love without judgement. Jesus said, “even though you do this to the least of me, you do it also unto me.” The prizes are excellent and winning tickets and door prizes will be drawn at OLPH Christmas Fair on November 25th.
