Join us on December 11 for a Christmas outreach effort which is guaranteed to bring cheer to underprivileged families of children who go to Lord Strathcona Elementary School. There will be food and carolling..it’s going to be a really fun project for the whole family to be involved in!
How can you help?
- 1. We need cardboard boxes 12”x12”x12” up to 3’x3’x3’. Please drop them off in the hall on Sat evening Dec 10 and Sunday Dec 11. The hall will be open for this purpose 15 minutes before and after Masses.
- We need donations of gift items hung from the Giving Tree. Just pick up a tag for a donation item and bring back your donation on Dec 10. Canned goods should have a minimum of 3 months’ shelf-life.Please do not leave donations in the foyer during the week.
- We need sorters, packers, wrappers on Dec 10.
- We need drivers on Monday Dec 11 to deliver packaged boxes to Lord Strathcona Elementary School in East Vancouver.Sign-up sheets are in the church foyer. Please put your name down if you can help. Thank you!
