A Positive Catholic Formation
Our Lady of Perpetual Help strives to provide its students a positive learning environment in the light of the Catholic Faith. The Principal and Staff endeavor to develop in the School a genuine Christian community with each member participating in an active manner for the common good of the whole community. Thus our students are able to have a true experience of community life along with the individual development of academic and physical skills.
Personal Development
One of our goals is the development of well-rounded pupils with good work habits as well as play and study habits. Emphasis is on the virtues of self-discipline, self-respect, consideration of others and respect for authority, property and academic excellence.
Active Parental Involvement
The school aims at supporting parents as the primary educators of their children and therefore tries to keep the lines of communication open on their child’s progress, school activities and programs, current education concerns and religious activities. We also invite parents to attend all our School Liturgies, which are prepared by the children under the direction of their class teacher.
Tuition 2027-2028 –
A Letter From Fr. Leo English, Pastor
Dear Parents,
Every year the parish must determine a family’s status regarding their tuition category for the
following school year. Typically, eligibility for registered, active, and participating status
(Category 1) is based upon the following:
1. At least one parent and the children must be baptized Catholic, proof of which must be
given to the school office.
2. Must be registered as a parishioner for one calendar year (12 months) prior to
registration/re-registration. Tuition status will only be determined in January at new
registration/re- registration. There will be no change in tuition status after January 15.
There will be no changes made to tuition status at any other time of the year.
3. Strong weekly attendance at Sunday mass. There are four masses on all weekends:
Saturday at 5:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. While all of us lead busy lives,
absolute priority must be given to a family, participating weekly together in the Eucharist.
Children learn what they live. Friday morning school mass does not satisfy your Sunday
obligation. Weekly Mass attendance is verified and recorded through the submission of
Sunday envelopes.
4. Strong financial support of the parish through regular weekly Sunday offerings, giving to the
best of your family’s ability. Families must use parish envelopes. If you give using
Preauthorized payment, you must indicate this, on the outside of your regular weekly Sunday
parish envelope. Please bring your envelope with you when you come to each Sunday mass and
place it in the basket at the time of collection. The Parish records submitted envelopes in
order to verify attendance.
5. Involvement in the life of the Parish by volunteering time, talent and resources at liturgical
services, parish events, and outreach activities. You are strongly encouraged to follow the
bulletin and visit our webpage for more information on opportunities for involvement.
Examples of areas you can volunteer in: Music Ministry, Liturgy of the Word with children,
Eucharistic Ministry, Lectors, Inner Hope meal preparation, Coffee Sunday, and Hospitality,
among others.
As parents, you are the first teachers of your children in the ways of faith. The eucharist is the
source and summit of our Catholic Christian belief system. It is this premise that is the core of
the parish and the school of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. We cannot state strongly enough how
important it is to regularly come together in these challenging times. We are in this together.
